I am currently interested in the Redmond area trunking and I have not been able to get all of the education hill frequencies. Some sites list the CC and possibly two other channels but I need all of them to be able to scan properly. My scanner does not have the ability to get frequencies from the CC as it is a very old scanner. Any help is appreciated. If you don't know the frequencies, could you let me know of a good set of frequencies that cover this area?

With out a trunking scanner you wont be able to follow anything, you will just here everything and follow nothing

I have a trunking scanner but it doesn't allow trunking without all frequencies. It is a BC895XLT. I listen to trunked channels, but I want to know the frequencies of education hill.

you figure this out yet?

Education hill is a cell repeater for the Redmond/Duvall (duvall is actually vallycom) and some woodenville traffic the cell system is 0855.9625

otherwise all traffic for the area is on simulcast
0868.2000
0868.7750

Put in the following frequencies:

006 King County/ValleyCom Simulcast (851.81250*CC) 851.08750 851.16250 851.36250 852.11250 852.61250 852.86250 853.31250 853.61250 854.08750 854.28750 866.38750 866.93750 866.96250 867.33750 867.43750 867.83750. Another listing shows 868.425 as the Alternate CC for this site, so you might want to put it in the second position.

I live in Issaquah and travel over to Redmond on a regular basis and use this all the time when on the eastside and it works fine. I have one group in my BCT15 that has Redmond, Bellevue, Issaquah and Kirkland PDs and receive all of their traffic from this site. Hope this helps!

you want EPSCA simulcast to have the proper Redmond only cell however the cells bled over when officers drive in and out so obviously its simulcast amongst EPSCA and Vally Com so you will pick them all up..

however if your goal is to pick up 100% of Redmond City Goverment the EPSCA trunks that i posted originally are what you want with the additional Cell of Education Hill that you have posted for areas north east of the hill.

if your traveling like a police car would you would switch to Vally if your stationary just for Redmond you want EPSCA. (also if you want to pick up more then just Redmond valley will normally have all the city's in the area. )

as i said (they are on vallycom)

However they are disp. with Redmond police. So Redmond police disp is always on vallycom in that cell.

As a system admin, I can assure you that they are a King County airtime customer dispatched by Redmond PD. As per the system M&O the have access to ED HILL IR, SEATTLE SIMO, KC/VC SIMO and EPSCA SIMO. The radio will choose the best site based on the roaming preferences entered. Traffic will only appear on sites needed to fulfill coverage needs. If you happen to hear traffic on a cell, it is because a subscriber or the system admin requested it.

You can find a very good explanantion on why the system does what it does at http://www.northwestradio.com/interceptnw/101.htm

arnt we saying the same things? im not trying to drum up a who has the better business card argument I just don't understand how i was wrong.

you - "they (Duvall) are a King County airtime customer dispatched by Redmond PD."

me - "as i said (they are on valleycom) However they are disp. with Redmond police. "

you - "Traffic will only appear on sites needed to fulfill coverage needs. If you happen to hear traffic on a cell, it is because a subscriber or the system admin requested it."

me - "So Redmond police disp is always on valleycom in that cell."
