Two legs meeting the tree sounds like you might be doubling back the antenna on itself. If you put a bend in the wire make it less than 90deg or find another location, running the wire out then doubling back with less than a 90deg bend can really reduce antenna radiation and efficiency.

The only other option would be a somewhat square shape with a missing side

How many feet do you have available in a mostly straight line?
Realistically (that is with something to attach the wire to) i have two possibilities. The antenna is 63 feet long.

First option:
35 feet from the transformer to the fir tree with a bit of slope (feed point higher) this option is part of my original planning

Second option:

50 feet from the transformer to another tree. The slope would steeper and the wire would need to pass through the foliage.

In both options the transformer is at the same location and it will have to remain there.
