El Dorado NF in CA has 166.55 and 167.1125 as their preferred firescene tactical nets apparently
Klamath NF has NIFC Tac 2 (168.20) and R5 Tac 4 as their preferred " fire ground tactical net " channels per their 2010 Radio handbook - ( backup FG channels seem to be NIFC Tac 1, NIFC Tac 3, and maybe Common 1 and Common 2 per the radio channel loads - however they need approval from the GACC to use them )
Angeles Natl Forest has NIFC Tac 1 as their preferred fireground channel per the Radio Ref wiki
Tonto NF in AZ has 168.05 as their primary FG channel
Prescott NF has 168.20 as their primary FG channel
Coconino NF has 168.60 as their primary FG channel
Coronado NF in AZ has 170.025 as their "crew net"
White Mountain Natl Forest in NH has 168.20 as their FG channel IIRC
Bottom line - it seems that each area has a preferred air to ground channel, a preferred air to air channel, and a preferred fire ground channel. It might be difficult to determine these channels without getting a look at the channel loads for each agency. Generally speaking, each federal wildfire agency has 1 repeater channel for dispatch and response. All other wildfire channels used on initial attack are not repeaterized. Channel usage is tightly controlled. There are not many "spare" channels.
