EL MIRAGE PD

I just noticed that the El Mirage PD is absent on my scanners. Talk Groups 4330, 4331, 4332. RR says these are the correct and I am sill receiving all the other cities around there. Both scanners are P25 Phase 2 so I should be receiving them.

You haven't said what scanners you are using, and I notice most of the sites are simulcast, which scanners (except the SDS100/200) have issues with. Another thought is you are attempting to monitor a site that those talkgroups aren't affiliated with, but again, lack of information on site you are using wasn't included in the OP.

Also, according to the database 4331 and 4332 are both encrypted so you will not be able to monitor traffic, and Uniden scanners ignore the encrypted sound on those talkgroups.

Sadly, El Mirage PD is now fully encrypted. I was watching their Dispatch TG on my SDS-100, and saw the "ENCRY" tag on the display show up just a few minutes ago.

I'm not newly programming this city, it's been working for months until recently. I know which talk groups are encrypted, I am only listening to 4330 which recently disappeared. I am using the SDS-100 and the BCD325P2 and both scanners handle simulcast pretty good. I can still hear Glendale, Surprise, Peoria, Buckeye, etc with no problems.

RR states EL MIRAGE, 4330 dispatch is still in the clear unless someone knows something RR doesn't??

On my BCD325P2 I can listen to Buckeye and here the encryption, but nothing for El Mirage PD.

I assume they meant that they can hear the scrambled (garbled) audio.

Thank you for reminding me. I can confirm 'partial encryption' on Luke AFB Tac 2 5033. On every occasion dispatch was in the clear, but the responding unit was encrypted.
