I received a DMR close call hit on this frequency in the area of MacArthur Blvd. and the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana.
Talkgroups 203, 204, & 210 with a color code of 2 are very active all hours day and night.

Not sure where it's coming from but it does seem to be large area coverage.
I've searched the FCC database and there are licensees in the area, none of them to me would be this busy.
South Coast Plaza is close by but I have confirmed it is not them.

Thanks, Randy

Don't know the source, but I have noted ENC TG 203/204 up in LA basin prior per my notes.

a quick look at the FCC for that Freq and OC - plenty of possbilities from UC Irving to Mission Hospital and of course the Mouse Ears (but that is simplex)

I got several close call hits at the location mentioned above and I wasn't moving.
Not sure if it was a repeater out close call hit or picking up a mobile transmitting on the input?
As busy as it is, and at all hours of the day or night, I'm thinking Tow, Security or maybe a taxi?
UC Irvine is low power like the mouse. South Coast Plaza was a possibility although they use the frequency, the information in the RR database is correct for them.
DSD+ shows there are six(?) active channels on the Cap+ system.

You won't get a Close Call hit on the subscriber side of DMR.

At work, our radio system is at 464.475. That is the repeater output. We switched to digital a year or so ago.
So you my be hitting on a business band repeater.

After looking around the FCC ULS database, it looks like South Coast Plaza is the only licensee that 1. Contains both frequencies from the capacity plus system, 2. Has the correct emission designation for DMR and 3. Is the closest license location to where you received the close call hit.

Seems very likely to me that if they are still active on their analog freqs, then they are also concurrently using this new capacity plus system.

Not saying it’s not South Coast Plaza, but last time I monitored them they were not encrypted, and using conventional frequency pairs. This was maybe 3 months ago….
