I am fairly new to SDRTrunk and find it working very well. The only issue I continuously have is that some of the end-of-transmission audio is cut off. This seems to happen almost exclusively on the dispatch side. Field units seem to be just fine. This happens regardless of live listening on sdrtrunk or replay via Trunking Recorder. The system I am on (LCRA Boerne) is not overly busy and I am able to capture the entire site with one SDR as it is 1.5Mhz total.

Is there a setting that will increase the delay between the end of a transmission and the stop of the audio playing?

Thanks!

Still looking for help on this if anyone has any ideas. Seems like I might need to increase a buffer setting somewhere but clueless if that is the answer and how to go about it.

I am also a user of SDRTrunk but never have had issues with the end of transmissions getting cut off. I am not familiar with your system,
but if it’s a TRS or a conventional repeater, then I will step out on a limb and suggest the problem may be with the equipment at your
dispatch center.

The reason I say this is, is that all p25 voice transmissions include a Terminator Data Unit (TDU) at the end of the frame as a means of
signaling the end of the transmission. Therefore, if SDRTrunk is receiving the TDUs from the field units, and is working correctly, then it
stands to reason the same should apply to the dispatch transmissions as well.

My assumption could be proven or debunked if you have access to a P25 scanner or another SDR software application such as op25,
DSD Plus, or DSD-FME that you could used as a comparison. Have you ever heard anyone on the system complain to their dispatcher
about the audio getting cut off?

No one ever complains and some of the cut off audio would mean missing important dispatch info. While waiting to figure this out, I've been running Unitrunker v2 and for the most part, that doesn't happen. Is there a way to watch for the TDU in the software?
