Saturday night (11-23) there was big surveillance and arrest operation involving Denver, Lakewood, Bow-Mar, the CBI and the FBI conducted on Blue SW. I feel we can discuss it now because the operation ended successfully with the arrest of three murder suspects from Trinidad who are now in custody.
My question: Does ESK somehow carry over to the Network First TG's when Denver and/or Lakewood are involved. My 996T was unable to hear any traffic on the talkgroup, while my PSR-600 appeared to do just fine...
Thanks in advance and, just for grins, here are the details concerning the bad guys:

3 men from trinidad were arrested in lakewood for a double murder in trinidad early thursday.
police did surveillance on the suspects, and traced them to the super 8 near wadsworth and hampden in lakewood.
then late last night, the men were arrested, without incident.
police think the suspects, who have family in the metro area, came here to hide and blend in.
trinidad police were assisted by metro area law enforcement, including lakewood police, and the CBI.
chief says he doesn't know the motive for the killings, but says the men knew each other.
there were only 6 people in the bar at the time of the shooting...the sixth was a woman who was with the suspects, but she is not
implicated in the murders. note....the chief says the story below from the trinidad newspaper is accurate, regarding what happened the night of the murders...

By Randy WoockStaff writer, The Times IndependentTwo Trinidad residents were killed by multiple gunshots at the Hollywood Bar early Thursday morning. Benjamin Griego, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene and Clifford Maes, 31, was pronounced dead at the hospital a short while later. The Trinidad Police Department (TPD) was called to the Hollywood Bar at 1133 N. Linden Ave. at about 1:14 a.m. on reports of shots being fired. Arriving at the bar, officers found Griego lying on the ground by the front steps to the bar. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gunshot wounds.Maes was discovered lying inside the bar on the floor near the front entrance. Still alive when discovered, Maes was transported by ambulance to Mt. San Rafael Hospital for emergency surgery. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital due to multiple gunshot wounds. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation was contacted by police to assist with the investigation and collection of evidence at the scene.A short press release was given out by police later that morning, but the TPD has so far declined to comment further on the incident. "We're not commenting further on that right now," TPD Detective Phil Martin said Thursday.Maes had a wide-ranging criminal history in Trinidad. In June 2004, Maes pleaded guilty to the charges of being an accessory to a crime and aiding an escape as part of a plea deal in relation to the stabbing murder of Gary Garcia on Dec. 18, 2002. The plea deal called for a two-year deferred sentence. Most recently, Maes was awaiting trial on charges of burglary with intent to commit first-degree assault for a home invasion at the end of May. Griego was arrested Nov. 10 for possession of a dangerous weapon. The incident is still under investigation by the TPD. Police are requesting that anyone with information call 846-4441 or the tips line at 845-TIPS.
