I was in Bayshore Mall today and I asked a Security Guard if I could take pictures of his radio, it’s a Kenwood. I’m just wondering what NXDN system I would need to program in?

You can find all Renfrew fire frequencies here:

And Ambulance still (for a bit) on the Fleetnet system, under MOH Renfrew CACC

I just see a flat deck tow truck company, Sharkey towing. I’m assuming it DMR freq as I just search on the forums and I found no results.

I found it :) so I am in the Kanata area which tower site should I program to hear Sharkey's Towing :)

Since you didn't bother to link to what system you found this on, so who knows?

You're the one in the local area, you would know where Sharkey's operates so you would be the best one to decide what tower to monitor. Throw all the sites within range of you in and listen. You need to spend a little more time thinking and less time asking people to do the thinking for you.

I am just looking for some clarification on Evans Bus Lines. I Googled their company and they are in Newington, Ont. location. They do some
some bus runs In Ottawa. I haven't programmed them yet. I just want to check to see if anyone else has heard them before I enter it in.

Thanks

What is with all of the crazy Emojis? It as if this site isn't worth it.

Why don't you put them in your scanner and figure it out yourself?

You've made the mods annoyed and besides, who would help you if you don't do anything on your own?

Look at the reactions, not good!

I will try my best. I'm just not sure what site it would be for that area.

Simple, program the site in, leave it scan and listen. If you hear something great. If not, carry on and try something else. That's how all of this was found to begin with. You get all the emojis because you keep posting the same silly questions, people give you answers and you ask the same silly questions again. You don't contribute anything meaningful.

I'm here a lot
It is listed in the Multiple area talkgroup category in PushPlus Network 201. That would mean it could affiliate with any number of tower sites in the network. If you have and use software, enable all the sites and see which one hits.

I will approve your next post in this thread only if you successfully find the tower.

This is the absolute best scanner site in the world and the Ontario page is the best one.

You're getting flack because you refuse to do any work yourself. If you took initiative you will find that people here will go out of their way to help. I personally am an idiot technology wise, but I learned how to program scanners and know a little bit.

You've been told numerous times to take initiative. Let's see what you do with it.

You have at least 11 towers to choose from in Ottawa. Simply see if you can hear any of them. Maybe create a system with the towers you can hear and the specific talkgroup for Evans.

IIRC, you have a SDS100. It's already loaded in the scanners database.
And you can use the recording feature. Run it when u think they will be active.

I don't for the life of me understand your passion for monitoring school bus comm's. Out of anything you can to listen to........umm ya.

316852 and 323996 sounds like School Buses

I just upload the entire database in the Push Plus system and what I have copied is I found that in a post that @mmisk did matching Evans Bus Lines.

I hope this is what I needed to do as it did take some time to do this.

HEY!!!!! Look at you!!!

You figured it out and might have found another talkgroup! Good for you Jason!
You'll get more help and earn respect if you keep doing this.
