Hi, I was listening to the City of Evanston Lifeguards on 152.330 and one of the ops asked another station to go to "Channel 2".

Anyone know the frequency of Channel 2? Also, are they using a repeater? If so, Id be curious to know the input freq?

Thanks!

You should of did a search from 150mhz to 160mhz with your radio. or a close call search if your radio has that capability. If you can get channel one, I'm sure you can get channel two. Sometimes it's the same frequency with a different PL tone.

The Radio Reference database appears to indicate that the 152.330 repeater is Evanston FD channel 4. It does not indicate what channel number it might be in the lifeguard radios.

There's always the possibility that lifeguard "channel 2" might be 152.330 simplex, with or without DPL 632. Since this would likely be low power, you'd need to be within a mile or two of the beach to hear these comms. Channel 2 might also be a VHF marine frequency, so I'd give those a shot as well.
