Just as a side note.... Of course when I am wanting to look at the ULS database, the site is down for some reason.... I hope it clears up before the end of the week!

Oh, didn't you hear? The FCC lost all data on all the hams in the U.S. We all have to take our exams over again.

;)

That's actually an interesting point. How many of us could pass our exams again if we had to take them right now? I'm pretty sure I couldn't without a bit of study.

Of course, none of that makes us a big sack of Lids or anything...but we fall into habits and practices (both bad and good) that the tests aren't set up to measure. Lots of subjects are like that.

I have my General in case they ask :) Sounds like the same thing the FAA did. If that really did happen, they would be SOL.

LOL

Taking that in 19 days :) Boy, the electrical section sure does SUCK!

Good Luck on the FAA test. From what some of my friends says, it's a bear..

I THINK I could pass the written test. No way on the Code. Had to take the 13 WPM 5 times!!!!!

All I know is I hate sitting around waiting for my call. Even if it is one day.

WAAAAY back when, when Noah was an Altar Boy, once you took your exam and passed it, you might (literally) wait for MONTHS to get that hardcopy ticket from Uncle Charlie! As a kid (aged 14), I damned near wore a groove in yard to the mailbox - checking EVERY DAY.

Yeah.. That would have KILLED me. You would think with all of the tecnology in use these days that it would be a one day turnaround. Just my opinion!

Don't know if the wait would have killed me or if that pleasure would have fallen to my father for making a PITA of myself every day! Yeah... Technology is a whole lot better!!!!

YAAAAY! You done good! Welcome to the wonterful, international fraternity that is amateur radio. Now that you've gotten your ticket, G.O.T.A.! Next step, start hitting the books for your general. As Arnold Schwarzenger (or Arnie SpritzieWater) always says, "YOOO CAN DOOO IT!"
