Right now I'm getting an extremely strong signal on 253.825. It's the most clear I have ever heard on satcom. It sounds like a guy speaking Russian but I don't know. I have the R-20 recording it. I am using the Dorne and Margolin antenna with a GRE 3001 preamp and I'm getting a 90-100% signal meter. I've never caught one that strong before.
Also, the PSR-500 seems to be an excellent Mil Satcom receiver. I was searching with it first and came across the signal.
