I have 2 windows 10 laptops they are both Dell. Ez scan used to run on both laptops. Now it only runs on 1 laptop. On the laptop that is giving me issues it says. Access Violation at address 0091D743 in module WS1080.exe Write of address 00000008. I tried uninstalling program and reinstalling program. I got the program from this site . Can not figure it out...

Did you reboot after you uninstalled the program? Microsoft recommends to uninstall the app, reboot, reinstall the app.

Also check this older post where you asked about it and got lots of good responses...

Yes I rebooted.. In the other post I did not mention it runs on one laptop and not the other. Just seems strange.. I also replaced SD card that was not the issue. I went with a 8 gig sd card scanner loads up faster than before I used to have a 16 gig card..

You can use 32GB SD cards, that are the most popular size, and partition it. That can be done by Windows own commands or from any free program like Partion Magic/Wizard, to a smaller size. I think I have it partition to 1GB that holds enough recordings until I transfer them to my PC. It then boots up as quick as it can as it doesn't need to check the whole SD cards surface and just the partitioned one, as I think it does as part of the boot process when Whistler though it was SD card problems that created file crashes when it is their own scanner firmware that does that.

It usually doesn't work doing that. Try and leave your old installation in place and make a new one with a different name, or perhaps rename the old installation, so that you do not reuse any old data from the old installation and have two EZScan installations. I use the free IOBit Uninstaller to have it remove any trace of a program in windows registry that usually works with most programs.
