ezstream and icecast

Lame is already encoding for the RR feed. I wished Darkice would have worked. It has a cant open channel 1 error I cant find lol.

I remember getting that error when experimenting. Are you using USB soundcards?

ezstream works great. I want to add a stream to icecast server.

Ive ran a darkice/icecast setup on a pi. Worked very well.
I was considering the ezstream option also for icecast.

ezstream works great for me. I havent figured out how to hook it inti icecast using the .xml file. I dont think Icecast will read the stdin that is configured now.

Well it seems like I would get that error when darkice tried to access a soundcard or a device that was already being used.

No chance that it continued to stay attached? Did you try "default" as the device setting??

Or the hw:0,0 version.

the setting that is giving me problems is hw:0,0 . I have tried several different ones. This is listed as default on the machine. The weird this is the channel one problem. I put it on channel 2 and it worked. It just had no audio.
