No, the low band is on an AM/FM disguise antenna from Sti-co. The 5/8 VHF is for VHF only. I did think of running a dual band VHF/UHF and using a diplexer, but ruled it out due to the limited frequency coverage

Looks good, but why are you using a cup holder to hold the siren/pa mic? Now where am I supposed to put my drink?? Now you just need some P25 radios in there for V/U ops...

Because you moved from installing to engineering side of the shop and did not install it..... you know that there is no food or drink allowed in the truck, no drink for you LOL

Great install, love it!

Anyone got a link to where those antennas can be bought? I cannot find them in Australia and cant seem to find them online to order one. Also do they come in any model that works well for scanners (410-470mHz mostly but some Air Band as well)
