around here they use what seems to be a slightly modified version of the
'Missouri State Highway Patrol -- Uniform Ten Codes'
10-6 means busy (out on a call or something like that)
10-6F might mean...
Busy, Traffic Stop
or busy.....
can't really begin to guess, not even sure if they use the same set of 10 codes in your area.

Believe you are correct regarding 10-6. F-Frank most likely is a code letter (Frank being the Phonetic for letter F, like ham for A = alpha etc). It designates either a location or a function like meal break.
Most likely, they're telling dispatch that they will be busy out of the car e.g. putting fuel (F) in the unit. They will change periodically just to keep all the scanner monitors guessing. Listen long enough and it's not too tough to decipher.
Seems to be strictly a localized code...not state-wide.

Ah yeah it probably does mean fuel, thanks. They dont change um here lol its a small town P-paul has been the police station for ever.
