Does anyone have the frequencies for fast food restaurants in Volusia County. Particulary The Daytona Beach area. I live pretty close to a few on International Speedway Blvd. so I think that I may be able to pick them up if i can get the frequencies.
Thanks
Jason D.

Here is a link with an extensive listing:

They're pretty much the same everywhere.

*LOL* .... if you look at the date on the list above you will notice they are 10 years old. I don't know about where you live .. but most of those frequencies haven't been used in years.

Are you trying to tell us that 10 year old freq list for fast food drive through windows have gone to 800 mHz? I think not. All the fast food restaraunts with drive throughs that I've ever listened to (in 2004 and 2005) operated on either 30-35 mhz, 151-157ish or 457 mhz,

In my experience, those frequencies are more or less the same now as they were 10 years ago. Very little change. I'm in south Florida.

i have one question........... why would anyone want to listen to people giving food orders? are you on some kind of diet or something and only get hungry when you hear mentions of fast food?

It isn't necessarily the content of the transmissions as much as just the fun of the "hunt", finding out who is using what frequency.

Having said that, sometimes they can get interesting. The clerks can switch to a mode that allows them to talk to each other without the conversation coming out the speaker at the drive-up window. However, with a scanner, you can hear "their" side of the conversation. Sometimes they use this like their own personal channel, obviously believing that nobody can hear them, talking about their date last night or making disparaging remarks about the customers.

There's a couple listed here http://home.cfl.rr.com/scanner/volusia.htm#BUS that are on ISB.

Here's the ones I have in my notes. This isn't something I focus on monitoring, I just log them down and guess which resteruant it is based on location.

30.68 Arby's on US1 S Daytona
457.5125 Hardee's WQAB710 US1 and Dunlawton Ave Port Orange
469.0125 A&W on US1 S. Daytona
469.0375 Wendy's on US1 S Daytona
469.0375 Burger King on A1A near 92 ? (this might be US1 at 92, my notes aren't clear)
