Fatal Accident:Madison County

ISP Dist 51 Trooper is letting Dist 51 Radio know about a 10-0 fatal accident on SR 37 and 900 south in Madison County. FACTS Team has been called to the scene. Radio traffic was on Safe-t talkgroup 4112 ISP 51 DSP. Posted Tues 2-5-13 9:30AM

There is no SR 37/900S in Madison County. It would either be 900N or be in Grant County.


Edit: Anderson news is reporting it at 900N. Probably an out of area trooper that called it in if they said south.

bamx 2. This was a Dist 51 ISP Unit that called it in to Dist 51 Radio. This is in Madison County not Grant County. This was on State Road 37 and 900 South per the Dist 51 Troopers radio traffic to the ISP Dist 51 Radio.* Anderson Hearld Newspaper is reporting it as being in Elwood which is in Madison County.*

Please dont argue with me Tim. I wasn't questioning what you heard, rather what the trooper said. As you know D51 is a large district, and troopers might not be familiar with every county.

I have confirmed it is at SR 37/900N from local Madison County scanner traffic on my 396XT that all professional scanner users should own.

One person killed in a head on crash with a box truck in Madsion County before 10 am Tuesday. The accident was on State Road 37 NORTH of County Road 900.
