SUMMIT COUNTY – Officials with the Keystone ski area tell 9NEWS a skier was killed on Sunday after crashing.
According to a release from Keystone Ski Resort, a 42-year-old man from Kansas died after an incident on Frenchman, an intermediate trail at Keystone.
Details of the crash were not immediately available although we are told it happened around 11:15 a.m. and that the skier was wearing a helmet.
The skier was taken to Keystone Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately released.
