FCC announces effective date of new application fees

I renewed my ham license Friday, no charge. The hardest part was my password program kept logging me in under my business FRN, had to disable 'Otto' log in (Aiplane's Otto pilot brother) so I could use my personal one.

Anyone know of a working argument to use for a waiver of the "only within 90 days of expiration" rule?
