So the battalion Chief does have MDC as an id on their portable radio when talking to dispatch and when talking on fire ground channel they have tps as an id?
All FDNY portable and mobile radios have MDC-1200 enabled on the analog T-Band channels (and resurrected VHF channels by extension). You can very clearly hear the burst after each transmission.
