I noticed programming a freq manually into the scanner it saves to " quick save" but I cannot get it to move from there to any other favorites' even after creating a new favorite. Can you program a specific freq into the scanner via sentinel? I have watched YouTube vids on this and nothing there solves the problem

Yes, you can copy/paste one from a favourites list to another in Sentinel.

Easier to Read SDS Sentinel Guide

Did you try "read from scanner" yet? It doesn't automatically save favourites lists into Sentinel, unless you have Sentinel read from your scanner.

If that's the method you used to program.

Otherwise, one can, and from the scanner, create a new fav list, create system, dept., channel. etc. Or navigate to a specific fav list, and create a system or freq where wanted.

but I cannot get it to move from there to any other favorites' even after creating a new favorite.
Hit Menu, then edit fav list, and navigate to the system or freq, and copy. Then navigate to the list you want to drop it in and choose paste.

You can add freqs to scanner from both the scanner and Sentinel.

If looking to do anything with Sentinel, always connect scanner and read it into Sentinel before doing anything else.
