If you are referring to USAD system files, save them to your pc, in the folder labeled "USAD_Systems". That will be a subfolder of the "BC396T USAD Database" off of 'My Documents', unless you specified a different install location. Some of the files listed in the Yahoo group have a "*.zip" extension, so you'll need Winzip, PKZip, or another compatible utility to uncompress them.
What I prefer to do is to, instead, save the file(s) to a different folder, then rename it before moving to the "USAD_Systems" folder. That way you don't accidently overwrite your own file with the same name.

At least in the case of the Maryland data, it's been reported that the data is old and incomplete; I'd use that data from Yahoo as a template to get you started. Use the data from the RRDB to correct and update them.

I had uploaded the Nashville, Tn metro files to the group, but after doing some moding believe there was an undisclosed error and it was causing the radio to project false TG's. I have since deleted the nashville files until I can rebuild and test them again.

So leason learned test the programming before putting the USD files up or you will end up corrupting some else's radio and they will also have to reprogram.

Once you get the files in the directory just add them to your config file if using the uniden software and upload and have fun.

Your taste on the text may be different but you can edit the TG's fairly easily.

Enjoy the radio as I do.

Then upload the updated files to the Yahoo group so everyone doesn't have to go through the update themseleves.
