I am using EZ Scan software for the WS1080. (A converted PRO-668).
I need to program trunked frequencies and many many TG's.

Using EZ Scan, can I export / import to/from any excel format like comma separated -.CSV type files?
Is there ANY way to do this?

Yes you can. You would open the CSV in Excel, and properly format the data. for example, the frequency column needs to be formatted as a number with at least three digits after the decimal.

I generally find it easier to copy (Cntl+C) a block of rows from the spreadsheet to the clipboard, and then use the Import from Clipboard feature in EZ Scan. It works well once you have the data formatted properly, which takes some trial and error. It's a little tedious selecting the header rows each time. Lots of mouse clicks.

It would seem IF I could export to csv or clipboard I could tell how to format the data. How do you do that?

Keep in mind that if you populate your radio from the RR database you cannot then export EZScan into Excel. However if you populate Excel and then load to EZScan you can up and down load EZscan and the data will be there. The format is straight CSV into EZScan. A simple copy paste from the spreadsheet into EZScan works. Just set up your spreadsheet so the column heading match the EZScan order and headings.

Why not just import it from the library database after you update the library?
Because imported from RR to EzScan will not allow export from EzScan to Excel. Only EzScan created from Excel and then imported to EzScan is downloadable into Excel.
