Whats the best way to find PL tones. Right now i'm using Wintone and it's not working the best. Is there anything else out there?

Or if not does anyone have a webpage for setting up wintone.

Most newer scanners have CTCSS/CDCSS built in - including search features. There are some aftermarket decoders that will work, but they require a discriminator tap. That may be the problem with WinTone as well. If you don't have a discriminator tap, the audio processing is probably stripping or distorting the CTCSS/CDCSS data.

If you can pick up a pro-92 then you have near instantaneous decoding of tones.

Great for grabbing tones.

yeah I got a old 760xlt, I know you can put a tap on it. I may just end up doing that.
