I'd say his chances of getting hired by ANY agency or even getting accepted into paramedic school are pretty much shot at this point. Just too bad they didn't find out he was a fake from the get go.

He should have have asked himself what my signature says: What Would Scotty Mayes Do?

(Answer is probably just drive by a few times w/ his whacker lights on and pretend to talk to someone important on his ham radio, in case anyone was watching.)

Speaking of that dirt bag, has anyone seed or heard from him lately? Maybe he got the message and discontinued his shenanigans.

It doesn't mention he had a scanner, so that's good. Sounds like Mr Lack lived up to his name...lack of intelligence!

Dark pants and Lime green jacket? Looks like CERT

CERT : Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT)

Next best thing to a police reserve/ auxillary. Not anyhting close to neghborhood and CB watch ops. I don't condone the lights and hoardes of radios, but if the municipality allows, then they get them.

rcvmo

They were NOT CERT folks.

The green jackets were from Schneider trucking. Breaker, breaker One-Nine truck driving jackets is what we were blinded with.

Yes, except they have no law enforcement training whatsoever. The only way I'd be more frightened is if they carried guns... but then we could call them Turley Fire Department ;X

Let us not forget Oakhurst Fire

While it wouldn't suprise me, I never actually witnessed anyone from Oakhurst packing heat in their Crown Vic Firefighter car. I can't say as much for the boys up Norf.

It's always nice to be able to not worry about this on scene of an accident, but these are always reminders to watch out to who is helping you, who is making patient contact, and also, who is near your controlled items. He should still be in jail in my opinion. If you call for a Life Flight, someone needs help. Keeping them on scene an additional 5-6 minutes almost defeats the purpose of them coming. He in all honesty could have been responsible for their deaths.

I saw some other's a few months back while working on the IDL. It was a motorcycle with a guy in a uniform. I think it had something along the lines 'cert' or at least the word responder in it. Would have been off of 244E and I think they exited somewhere around Utica...maybe the next exit east.
