Firefighters Union Warns Emergency Communications System at ‘Grave Risk of Catastrophic Failure’

I wonder if the ISO takes radio comms into consideration for insurance ratings. My wife was an insurance inspector, part of her report was the distance to the nearest hydrant. If the FD can't dispatch the run that negates any advantage of having a hydrant in the front yard.

Has anyone seen a factual report on property values going down after a tower is built in the neighborhood?

This 'my home will loose value' argument seems to be the one most often mentioned after 'I don't want to see an ugly tower on my block' even though my observation of mankind is most folks spend their spare time starting at a 50" TV or 4" smart phone.
