That's the point, Sentinel won't download 1.23.03 for me and says 1.23.01 is the latest version. Don't know what the hell is wrong.
Are you using the correct Sentinel? Isn’t there two versions? One for HomePatrol and another for the SDS100/200? Did you install the newest edition of Sentinel? When I went after 1.23.01 Sentinel informed me I first needed to update Sentinel. I did and then was able to download 1.23.01… both Main and Sub updates…and later 1.23.03. I believe only the Main ver was pushed.

In the post prior to yours I describe how it's been sorted out already. I had already updated to 1.23.01 so Sentinel wasn't the issue.

Sorry but I don’t see a prior post. But happy that you’ve got it sorted out. What did you find was causing the problem?

And my VHF/UHF reception has shown a marked improvement too! -looking for verification on that point… it may just be me, happy to get my truck back from the autobody shop after 3 weeks. But the new firmware seems to be enhanced. Comments?

Same here. Much improved. And it scans now and stops on weaker signals when the squelch is closed to #2. With the old firmware, the squelch was too tight at #2 and would miss many transmissions if they were worse than -90db strength. I complained about this for years and many on the forum argued with me, suggesting that my signal was too low ect... UHF conventional much better also. I reverted back to version 1.21.00 just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. After a quick verification, I quickly updated back to the latest once again.

Well… I did my SDS 100 yesterday. So far so good. Not really seeing any problems or “improvements!” I’ll have to look around and make sure that all the settings remained as they were.

I am happy to report the new update has drastically improved my reception! I am super impressed with the Uniden R&D team and BearcatJoe for this quick fix! Thanks again!

After the latest update, I had to change the filters. I found normal filter to perform the best now, instead of wide invert. My squelch seems the loosest when set to normal filter and squelch at 2. So the filters may, be worth re- investigating.

I called UNIDEN Support and it seems it's the first they heard of this problem. Everyone call @ 1-800-297-1023. I recommended Sentinel be enabled to retain previous version of firmware in case this happens again. I borrowed "$700 brick" and it seemed effective. The lady said she would escalate immediately. I recommended redistributing earlier version firmware to Sentinel for an immediate fix. She wrote it all down. We need more complaints!

I'm sorry, but we're not your backup singers.
