This sounds like a really important feature for some people who have experienced this issue on the SDS100. Can we expect a similar update for the SDS100 soon?

Would this feature be to "dampen" signal or increase it?

Not the place to ask this, but could someone point me to a description of the impact of inverting the HPF? I believe I understand the design components based on understanding the use of op-amps in filter design, just having trouble understanding what the effect would be. Gain difference perhaps?
