I will get a pic of the cyan backlight once I get home later.

And the backlight should be the same as the 396xt. Or if
it is different I have not been able to notice it over last
few months.

Some places have them now from what I've seen like Scanner World. I wanted to save myself a few bucks so I phone ordered one from Communications Electronics and hope to get it by next week when they get them in.

It's $489.95 which includes shipping. It's not listed on their site but you can call and order one over the phone.
