The was an article in the Capital yesterday about new vehicles to replace Annapolis' current fleet of Crown Vics (~2010) and Tauruses that are not holding up so well. They seem to be buying Ford Explorers in bulk over the next two years - apparently they are the most popular vehicle for police use, and are expanding the fleet to enable take-home cars, which the officers preferred over a pay raise in their last negotiation. The new vehicles's color scheme will change from blue with gold marking to black with silver decals. Anyway, I digress...
The article mentioned that they will be equipped with FirstNet and have "night-vision" cameras. Part of the rational of FirstNet was to enable high speed services, which video is one. I'm curious what other jurisdictions are currently using FirstNet for data.
