I have it listed at USCG as well, but haven't heard any activity on it. Did you have a NAC with it?

Unfortunately no, I don't have any NAC capable radios at the moment. And I just spent my radio budget on the HP-1. ;)

It's not new, I heard it last year and 2008. It's also in MT Airshow Guide for 2010:

Thanks for the education. I haven't updated my airshow profile it a little while. It looks like even though things don't change much, this is one I missed.

Yeah..

Monitoring the Blue Angels can be complex at times. Last year at SF Fleetweek, The solo's stayed on their freq. right through show center. So, you could hear the lead calling out when to commence a maneuver. This year, at least at this show, they use Solo Ch. for the set up, and then call it out on the Show Box freq. shared by the Diamond. No coincidence there...

3 separate radio's would be best to listen to this team...

Hey B52, I didn't hear Bert at the Miramar airshow 2 weeks ago either so I suspect they were also using 305.9 (which I didn't have - 305.5 was silent). I noticed the 67.0 PL tone on both CommCart A and B channels.

Regards,

Inigo

Thanks for the report. I always have CTCSS/DCS search on for analog channels. I have never seen a PL used on these frequencies before. Is this a first for you too?

It was actually my first time hearing the Comm Cart FM channels at all. Tower spotter was on Ch A and Maintenance was on Ch B, both PL 67.0.
