I have a Quansheng Uv-R50 and i am wondering if i am able to program it for fleetnet zone 2?
I have gotten it programed for my local law witch dispatchs through northbay. So what i am wondering is am i already in fleetnet frequencys or am i just in a certain section?? Im new to this

Your radio does not have capability to track a Motorola Type II trunking system, nor to decode digital voice used by OPP and others. If you scan the frequencies manually you will get fragments of conversations, analog mixed with digital, as the system assigns channels on as-needed/as-available basis.

The best you can do with that radio is pick up the UHF vehicle repeaters (if you are close to them), some UHF fixed repeaters (Beat or Urban) in some areas, or simplex such as SIM11 (148.765), See database.

I may not need to tell you this, but will anyway: don't try to transmit (accidentally or otherwise) on any of these frequencies.

And what "local law" do you already have programmed that's dispatched from North Bay?
