Florence PD Frequency

Hello, I have been looking around and haven't had any luck locating the frequencies used by the Florence Police Department. Under the Boone County page, it lists a frequency however, it seems it is just a "talk around". Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find their dispatching frequency? I have looked on the FCC page, without any luck. Thanks!

If I was a betting guy, I'd say the Florence PD conducts their primary business on the Boone County System Boone County, Kentucky (KY) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference with that "talkaround" channel being used for miscellaneous unit to unit conversations.

The northern Kentucky folks may have additional information on this however.

In poking around the FCC licenses, that talkaround frequency is licensed to Boone County, so I'm guessing this is a channel dedicated to Florence's use by Boone County.

Thats what I thought as well. I am actively monitoring both, however I am not hearing any local (florence) communications on the Boone County primary channels, and nothing on the talk around. Thanks for the info though!

Florence PD is indeed dispatched by the county on 453.700.

The 453.86250 is their non-repeated Car-to-Car channel. You would need to be near the units to actually hear them.

What they said was 100% correct. All Boone Co. Sheriff units and Florence PD are on the listed Boone Co. channels (mostly 1 & 2) they'll only go to tac (channel 3) to work an incident, or the "Florence talkaround" (that Florence frequency) to BS mostly. That Florence frequency will be used for SWAT operations should something happen although...

All PD dispatching is done on 453.700.
Florence uses shift #1,2,3 - Fxx, example 2F15
Sheriff Office uses shift #1,2,3 -Sxx, example 3S41

453.150 used to be Florence PD dispatch. It is used by Florence services now.
