I don't usually feel the need to offer my opinion on something but...

but I guess that don't matter since rules, like laws, are meant to be broken too
I think the next time someone inquires about FL scanner laws that we have enough material in this and other threads to just refer the individual to them and they should be able to make a decision which way they want to go.
Personally, I accept the risk the few times I take my scanner with me in my car.
