Your average MSWIN radio won't be able to register/affiliate on a SLERS site as they're not programmed into the radio.

Yeah, that's what is confusing. I guess I'm not hearing the average radio comms. I'm hearing MSWIN, MDWFP, MS Hwy Patrol, MS Interop, George Cty MS, Greene Cty MS.....etc., whoever's radio is hitting FL SLERS.

your radio is likely tracking a MSWIN control channel and popping with their information (usually during a band opening). I work literally on the MS/LA line and sometimes I'll get hundreds of hits from LWIN talkgroups as the control channels are the same as MSWIN control channels, though geographically separated.
I used to get home at night and see 350 recordings of (encrypted) NPOD traffic and wonder, then I realized the site the radio thought it was coming from was nowhere near my location.
Re-use of freqs.
That's what is happening. I was trying find anything hopefully "in the clear" on FL SLERS other than Air Medevac. Eventually wanting to log some UIDs. But I swamped with TGs from MSWIN and some from the Louisiana state network. So, I just gave up. Appreciate the insight.
Appears to be 2 new LCNs on Melbourne site. No Rxs listed on unitrunker for them. Its LCN 8 and 19.

I'm in Melbourne (Suntree) and I'm not hearing anything on my SDS200 since the 7th of September. Have you found a way to hear anything

Brevard County P25 (00A.92077)
Brevard has lit up their P25 system that will eventually replace their 30 year old analog EDACS system. Currently only the (edit: south - palm bay) site is active on 852.6125 Funny, they are using the same WACN as Ozaukee County, EDIT: Wisconsin (at least for now) --- this system will be...
P.S. All LE and some/most of the fire comms are all encrypted and on the P25 system. The only public safety left on the EDACS system is Brevard Fire/Rescue.
This is in reference to the SLERS EDACS system. not the Brevard EDACS and/or P25 system.

So the WCSO now uses the P25 system and is entirely off EDACS? I may be mistaken, but I thought they were going to build out their own P25 system?

They are going to their own. I’m sure they transitioned while their system is being built out.
i was going to say that I have no idea what the walton county plan is - so thanks for that. We do not process many submissions from the Florida panhandle so any updates from Tallahassee to the west are much appreciated!
since the plan (so far anyway) seems to be SLERS 2.0 re-using existing sites and frequencies, it would make sense that the county SO/Fire have have moved to P25.

Can anyone confirm that the sites listed below for the 197 system are still on the air? I thought these were a part of the OLD P25 Phase 1 air system and were going to be converted to Phase 2?

197 should been deleted. Than again I'm not sure if Miami-Dade air is on the phase ll.
Why should it have been deleted? Meaning the 197 system is no longer on the air?
I remember that earlier this year/late last year, a bunch of the sites from the Phase 1 Air (197) system were converted to the Phase 2 Air (141) system. It seems these 4 are the only ones that have been lingering in the DB for months. I wondered if they are still on the air and whether anyone can monitor and confirm.

No longer on the air. All Air is on 141 and 800 side is 352.
When I was in certain areas of NE and NW FL in Feb the 197 sites 46 47 89 weren't online. I even did a search noting popped up.
we have not received any submissions for those other sites still listed as ID197 - too far from me to confirm. I did reach out on the miami site for confirmation - will update when I hear back.

Yes, KW is site/rfss 27. ID 141, WACN 9254A. frequencies are correct
