My old DSD ver 1.101 works fine but I've hit a wall trying to get plus working. I'm using a RTL- 2832 dongle
Downloaded a new copy of Plus. Ran 1r.bat to start and next FMPx-24 cc.bat. program starts I see the spectrum
monitor. But plus always reports a " FMPx link error -5. Can't get past this What gives?

If you downloaded the new free Public Release version of Fast Lane from the website:

1. download / unarchive the entire contents to a new directory with nothing in it
- good options are c:\dsdplus or c:\dsdpluspublic or c:\users\<username>\desktop\desplus

2. Run FMP24-CC.bat and 1R.bat

You should not have to do anything else. Don't edit any batch files or anything. Just run the two batch files mentioned in step #2.

You ran FMP24-VC ?
Thanks guys. I installed the public download in a new directory. Ran the 1R bat along with FMP24-CC. Still no link to my dongle. it's an RTL-2832. Next I tried 1r bat along with FMP24-VC. Still no good Finally Ran 1r bat with the FMP-24 application file. The dongle spectrum came up but still got an link error -5 from DSD. Next I shut off windows defender fire wall to see if this worked. No good Finally deleted the DSD-Plus directory power down the computer, powered back up and installed a new copy of DSD. Same results. I intermittently get a prompt on start up that the dongle is in use when starting FMP24-CC. I'm wondering if I should try to do an install on a completely different PC?

try editing your FMP24 to this. The no link indicates the DSD program is looking for a different device ID. Change the freq to what you want.

start FMP24 -o7654 -f855.5625 -b12.5 -g42.9
timeout /t 6
call dsdplus -i7654 -v3 -O NUL
