I live in Eastern Camden County and am picking up Ocean Co P25 pretty clearly on my Unication G5. Can I also hear NJFFS on the NJICS system? What about if I got my scanner and monitored the VHF? Would I hear anything from out here?

There's been a lot of activity on VHF, the usual channels. I can hear them when they use the repeaters but not simplex, too far away for me.

I'm all the way over here in Burlington and could pick up the Burl county team down there on response 12 really good last night.
I've found that my analog only scanner, which I use for the 154.220 Dispatch can pick up the Forest Fire service, just not quite that far away.
That's when I kick on the Broadcastify.com.

Of course you can hear response 12 from down there, that's why we spent $20 plus million dollars on the radio system.

I'm right over the Burlington-Bristol Bridge in Bristol and monitor NJFFS on division B Channel 8 on 151.475 pl 179.9 with no problem using a Tri band ground plane. Also monitoring news Choppers out of Philly, both news desks and Aviation coordination frequencies then watch them on ADS-B with the trail engaged and they Circle right above the hot spots so it gives you an exact location. It's been kind of hairy in Pemberton.

I would think so if you have a rooftop. Just the repeaters, probably not simplex. As far as I know they are not on the New Jersey interop system.

I'm able to hear that (Forestry Division B - Central) up hear in Lower Makefield using the SDS100 and a REM-820S antenna.
The ( Tram 1199 Glass Mount All-Band ) connected directly without going through glass is just a little better.
