So all this was rx'd using a RS668 running a limit search 380-390mhz, hence why the data I have to offer is very limited.

Too brief for TGs to decode, signal strength very strong though. That and the NAC point to originating from the 98D, Site 2, which tracks with the KHFF location trumpetman listed via the location map, as that is much closer to where I was. The two tx's I heard didn't allow me to figure out if it was standard base ops stuff also being carried on the old system or not tho, in the same way that occasionally the Ellerbe tower will carry base ops traffic under certain conditions.
Now from the location I traveled to last evening I used to be able to marginally receive the old 3CF Site 1 (CC 385.2125 $3C1) and associated traffic if I set up in certain areas. In these same areas yesterday evening, I picked up nothing, not even a weak signal, for anything. Makes me think that tower is either not currently active or the power has been reduced/antennas altered etc. Signal characteristics from my location yesterday evening were very consistent with what I have noticed in the past for (old) 3CF Site 2 & (old/new) 4-7. It was a rare day that I ever could even decode the old 3CF Site 3 and I saw no signs of it yesterday as well, so that's really no surprise. As for all the other sites, the new ones, aside from the 98D Site 2, nada.
Time was short, I was distracted as I was there to watch the storms passing thru as well as investigate this further, but next time out I hope I will be able to focus more and will be sure to break out a couple of 436's and see if I can find anything useful. I suspect until the next UWCULEX iteration kicks off, there will be little of note I can report on.
