I just upgraded to DMR and got some new channels now.

Found this right away.

464.425 but can't find info on it on the website.

First off what is the best way to get info on the scanner, and save it? And record it? And only this channel? Conventional discovery? Keeps popping up color code 14 and some other things like TG is changing rapidly at random.

I'm on quick search but won't let me record, says replay is off. Still new to this scanner.

Program it in to a favourite list, hold on this channel then use the recorder to record the audio and TG information.

Don't tell anyone, but these publications describe anything and everything Sentinel and the Bcd436Hp can do. If you read it front to back, and back to front, you could be a pro in less than a week.

Post the city, county, state where you heard it and somebody with some experience can look it up in the FCC ULS and find out who the licensee is.

If it's showing a lot of different talkgroups and random parts of coversations then it'a probably a trunked system voice channel.

The RadioReference database is just the tiny tip of a big iceberg. Depending on where you are there could be a lot missing especially business frequencies that most scanner users don't care about.

If you invest in a Radioreference premium subscription you can utilize the frequency data search to search your county (and surrounding counties if necessary) to see if it's been ID'ed in the database. Your searching abilities are rather limited without a premium sub. Even with one you may or may not find an existing DB listing. That's where the FCC search comes in handy for you to look up potential licenses

The TG info keeps bouncing around, is that normal?
Can't say for sure what's happening with no video sample

You need to press function button (top button on side of scanner) and then press record/replay button then "E/Yes" to start recording in quick search mode. Repeat key combo to stop recording
