Foxboro Police Dept. will be adding a K-9 drug dog. There is no time schedule at this time. As soon as i get more info i will let everyone know.

Arlington Police has had a K9 for a couple of years now. Somerville wants to get one this year (and the money is apparently in the FY09 budget). I think that Medford had a K9 - dont know if they still have it. MBTA, BPD, MSP, and Hanscom AFB have PD dogs. Probably TSA, DOHS, FBI also.

The Arlington K9 went mutual aid to Cambridge and Lexington recently - so I dont think those agencies have dogs.

A local K-9 unit would have helped in last nights manhunt in Mansfield stemming from a homicide.

Starting July 11th, 2008 Foxboro Police Dept. will officially have a K9 drug (only) dog on duty.

'heard a K-9 officer with a very vocal partner in the back seat the other night...he said '...I'll let my partner answer the radio from now on."...that's the K-9 officer said that, not the partner.
