6-8 Weeks ago, my TRX-1 stopped receiving Franklin PD. Prior to that it was loud and clear. Have there been changes that my TRX-1 is not recognizing? A semi knowledgeable person indicated that they went "simulcast"????

Appreciate any thoughts on settings etc.

I work part time in the town and it definitely sounds better within the town that it has in the past. I didn't think much of it, but I suspect you're right.

Listening to them right now on my PRO-197, they do sound a bit crisper than I remember them. They either added part time encryption or I got a bad decode on one short transmission. Control responded to whatever they said so they could hear them

I don't have any settings to share. I just entered in as P25 conventional. I know on the Plainville side of town, they were always "not clear" and now they are rock solid there. So there have been some changes made.

Turns out the solution was quite simple - after trying lots of things I tried raising the delay time - set it at 7 and am working it down from there...problem solved!!!
