Freescan?

Ok,
I've got a case of alzheimer's going on 2 problems.

1 - For xmas I bought my daughter a bearcat, programed it and sent it home with her around middle of January she put it up in storage, I brought it home and can't remember what program I used to load it up, I have some files that are .996 anyone know which one saves that ext?

2 - I downloaded freescan thinking it might be the one I used, but can't get it to install correctly my .net for windows is up to date it shows in programs under control but 0 bytes. I'm using Micro Ess for virus checker.
deleted the hex key and still nothing.


any ideas?

Try uninstalling FreeScan and re-installing it. You will be able to download the scanner's file to FS regardless of which software was used to program it.

I have uninstalled it a few times and same thing.

Re Freescan:
I just started using it and I too could not figure out how to open the .996 ext.
What I did was when the window pops up asking if you want to search for a program, scroll to the bottom and click on find program in this computer, then find FreeSCAN in the program tree and click on it. that should open the file and place it in the left pane.
