Has anyone notice how very little chatter there is on fremont talkgroups. I will have my Pro-164 scanning for almost an hour and get soo little chatter

Well they aren't too busy right now but you should be hearing a good amount of traffic.

btw kma371...do you listen to everything around the bay area? or are you only monitoring some stuff? I always see you post on everything on the SF Bay area forum lol!

Most of the east bay. Plus with EBRCS active, I post a lot about that.

But I can receive Marin, napa, Solano and San Mateo from my location.

Much of Fremont's routine traffic is done via the computer to the mobiles. Most of the radio traffic on channel 1 is traffic stops and "hot" details, so there could be a period of time with no traffic. I have checked my radio a number of times in past years to make sure the volume is up because of the quiet times. Hope this helps.
