The city of Livonia uses an EDACS trunked radio system for all of its city services (excluding public schools) INCLUDING POLICE AND FIRE.
System frequencies are:
866.7125
867.3000
867.7875
868.3000
868.8250
Frequencies must be entered in the exact order as listed above.
Police dispatch talkgroup is 274 decimal (02-022 AFS)
Fire dispatch talkgroup is 785 decimal (06-021 AFS)
A complete list of talkgroups can be found in the radio reference database but the above talkgroups will have the most police and fire activity.
Please note: Livonia makes extensive use of Mobile Data Computers in most of its police and fire vehicles so voice traffic on analog dispatch talkgroups can be sparse at times. Detectives, special ops. and undercover type activity is generally done in digital mode.
