Does anyone know what frequencies are used around the port of Saint John ?
Port police, harbour Master, Digby ferry etc

This is a bit off topic for this section but how far do these signals propagate (is that the correct terminology?)
I know it has a lot to do with "line of sight" but in general, using Saint John as an example with there trunk system if your 20 miles out can you still get good reception ? 30 miles, 40 miles 50 miles etc I am wondering if I put up an outside antenna if I would have any chance of picking up the Fredericton trunk system (about 60 miles). Or even Dibgy NS about 55 miles but straight across the water (direct line of sight).

Thanks
Bill

If you have it high enough to get a clear view across the Fundy I would expect to get some traffic from Digby if it is strong enough of a transmission in the first place. Fredricton trunk will be too far away with too many hills and such in your way.

Tells me what I expected, I figured Fredericton would be to far and to many hills between

Thanks
