YOU HAVE TO GO INTO THE STORE WITH THE CATALOG NUMBER TO ORDER IT FROM THE STORE!!!

Just tried that at my local store and got a reply "No, we don't honor Radio Shack coupons". I just bought a Pro 106 2 days ago when I saw this coupon. I wanted to return the scanner, had receipt and packaged just as I received it. They told me to hang onto it and would check with their district salesman to see IF HE WOULD RECOMMEND honoring the coupon, then if he approves, I go back next week and get the discount. I'm not holding my breath. Apparently because this is a privately owned store, they claim they don't have to honor RS coupons especially because they claim they paid more for the unit than what I would be paying.
I'm thinking I'll wait to hear what the district salesman has to say but am also ticked off enough to just return it and order next week online. Comments???

I notice the fine print on the coupon says "No photocopies". Looks to me that you need an original and printing it off the web may not work. Any radioshack managers that can answer???

This coupon worked before....

I have successfully used a printed-from-the-net coupon just like this in the past at a company owned store to pick up additional digital scanners. The salesperson remarked "Wow thats pretty cool, where did you find this?!" With the 96/2096 on sale at the time for $400 the dicounted price came to $280 and Delaware has no tax. Now I gotta see if I can scrape up the money for a 106.

I'm almost wondering if it will vary from store to store. Your best bet is to likely call your local store (or a few stores in your area) and see what they say.

The coupons are coded by regions to track their use by Regional Mgt.

No, from what I've read they're region specific. I haven't had too close of a look at the info online, my store's being re-modeled this weekend.

Could always just call your local store and ask them I guess. I'm headed to Florida on Sunday, and once I clear the airport I'm headed to the nearest RS store to try and get a Pro-106 with the Friends and Family Coupon. It will totally make my day (obviously) if they accept it.

I went to my local store today and got one, they just printed it off.

Pick out the merchandise, present the coupon. If they say no, then say, no thanks and walk away with the coupon. If they want your bidness, and radio shack is hurting like everyone else, they will take the discount or another location will. As a consumer, I wouldn't call ahead, the element of surprise is in your favor.

Called my local RS last night that shows on the web site that they have the PRO-106 in stock and only asked if they were doing the F&F coupon sale this weekend and they said YES.

Will be there Thursday AM and hope they actually have one in stock.

OK the good word from my conference call today was that the coupon can be used in any region. They are just tracking which regions are getting more redeemed. Thats it. Now they can be used at all corprate stores. However, franchise stores are up to the owner of each store.
