Ft Meade Trunk Help

I have never figured out how to program either my PRO-90 or my PRO-94 to work on the Fort Meade trunk system. No problem with AA County trunk system and I can monitor Ft Meade in conventional mode, I hear the data/control channel but can not get trunk scan to work. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Neil

You're out of luck with the PRO90; it's a clone of the Uniden BC235 and it can't do 400 mhz trunking. I'm not sure about the 94; it might be capable of it. If you check your manual....

Most every trunk scanner I know when it does UHF trunking, you must program the base and offset first. You can find that in the database.

Yeah the Pro 94 does UHF trunking. Gotta dig up the manual, haven't used the 94 in months...

Mo the manual says the 94 will do UHF Trunking but when I tried to set base frequency then offset the options for offset are12.5 to 100kHz. The database I have says the offset for the system is 380? I just can's seem to get it to work in trunk mode for the 400MHz Ft Meade system.

Use 25Khz as the step size.....

I will need to program this system, cause I start work with the Provost Marshal soon as a dispatcher.

You will need to use 25kHz as the step size, works on my PRO-94.

Can you pick up the 380 on the Pro 94? I thought that was only the new Uniden that worked on.
