You can scan all the banks that are linked. You cannot link a bank and not scan it unless you unlink it.

I'm not sure whether you are telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about or Yaesu doesn't. It works. I'm scanning 3 banks right now using the method I outlined. Try it.
What are the buttons on the radio do I punch to Bank Scan and/or use the RTS settings? Thanks. KN6BXX

I believe I already explained this in an earlier post. As far as I am aware the only way to link banks is via the RT software. Scanning single banks is done by pressing F BAND, turning the encoder knob to select the band name and the pressing BAND again. Once the bank is selected press F SCAN (number 2) to begin scanning. If bank are linked, selecting a bank will scan all linked banks.

All of this assumes you have programmed banks and named them. Refer to RT software and FT70 manual.

I asked the guys at Yaesu and was told "It's not possible to link banks and scan more than one simultaneously like you're asking"
Using ADMS programming that Yaesu provides, I didn't see a way to link the banks but as ko6jw_2 mentioned it Can be done using RT Systems software.
