Many agencies around my area are using SCADA for alerting and paging. They say because there is less risk of interference.



Can SCADA mode be added to future FTO?

SCADA isn’t an CAI protocol. It can ride whatever type of modulation the equipment manufacturer chooses (Tetra, DMR, 4FSK, 64QAM, etc). While there are standards on the wireline protocols, nothing currently for CAI.
