Why do the database admins for GA insist on keeping the outdated Fleet Map for the Fulton County system?? They have rebanded, and use Type lI TG's. When I import them to my base and ht, I have to go in and redo the TG's with their proper ID's. This is time consuming and needs to be fixed!! PLEASE FIX:)
Thanks,
Larry

Larry,

I'm confused. I see the system type as Type II, I don't see a fleet map listed, I don't see any type I IDs, and I had no trouble importing the data and immediately programming it into my scanners with everything working fine. If you can point me more specifically to the problem you are observing and the exact change needed I would be happy to make the change in the database.

As an aside, given that the database admins for Georgia consist of a couple of volunteers who rely on contributed information from people like you to let us know when database information needs to be corrected/updated, it would be ok if submissions didn't come laced with cynicism (but I realize that's a lot to ask on a public message board - Mike, much as I like him, still doesn't get this). You would also be more likely to get a timely response if you sent your submissions to the Submit area of the system in question where it can be properly logged, reviewed and worked by the DB admins, rather than posting only in the forums where an admin may or may not stumble across it. We all benefit when outdated data gets corrected so I'm just trying to be constructive here.

Not sure on how forums work, but I used to listen to Johns Creek PD inside North Fulton County listing. Did something change in the last 48 hours? because I can't find Johns Creek PD any more. The tag i used changed to fire channels. Any help for a novice?

Yes. They are using a different TGID. Clear the old Fulton County trunking system out of your scanner, and program the new system in. What radio are you using, and how are you programming it? On the main page of RR, click on the database link, click on GA, click on Fulton County, click on Fulton County trunked system. All the new changes are there.

Since you are a premium subscriber, do a web import to your programming software. Make sure you delete the old system first. Then upload the new info to your scanner and have fun. John's Creek is now dispatched on ChatCom 911.

Thank you Larry,
I have a Uniden Bearcat BC370CRS. I have located the frequencies as you directed, however I get an error message when trying to program. should I place an "8" in front for 800 mhz? For example; Johns Creek PD main shows 46384 B53 A. do the later two colums me anything?
With this change in Johns Creek, and if I can eliminate "Fulton dog catchers and Fulton Jail 89 checks" that would be great! Thank for your rapid relpy! Tjey (a novice at this)
